The Requirements for Review Requests


​Here are the types of review requests that can be considered for Lion's Eyes Reviews:

- Reviews of Christian non-fiction books, especially in the following categories:
  • Christian Living
  • Christian Biography/Autobiography/Memoir
  • Bible Studies and Devotionals
  • Study Guides and Supplementary Material (although she prefers to review it alongside the original book)
  • Apologetics/Theology
  • Christian worldview on entertainment or contemporary issues
  • Christian Non-Fiction for Women (especially for single or young adult women)
  • Christian Non-Fiction for Teen Girls or Pre-Teen Girls (especially Bible studies)
  • Christian Non-Fiction written to men, but only if you desire a female perspective on the material
  • Christian books on dating, relationships and/or marriage, but only if it's relevant to a single woman
  • Christian ministry resources, especially youth ministry or music ministry
  • Christian children's books
- Reviews of movies or musicals from a Christian perspective
- Reviews of youth ministry curriculum or resources, especially those relevant to teen girls and their leaders
Here are the types of requests Lion's Eyes Reviews does NOT except:

- Reviews for any fiction books (may consider some Christian fiction on case by case basis)
- Reviews for any Christian book that is irrelevant to a single young woman with no children. [This includes books on parenting, unless they are somehow relevant to youth ministry. Books on marriage and relationships are acceptable if they have relevant information for singles.]
- Any "Christian" books that are not theologically or biblically sound
- Reviews of any kind of media that is considered pornographic, overly violent, horror/slasher, or is rated R or NC-17 (or an equivalent rating)
